SimpleFIN is a read-only bank-data bridge (~$1.50/mo) that feeds live BofA / Amex / Chase balances and transactions into Nola. No money movement is ever granted — transactions only.

1 · One-time setup on SimpleFIN

  1. Go to bridge.simplefin.org and create an account (~$1.50/mo or $15/yr).
  2. Click Connect and link each bank (Bank of America, Amex, Chase, …) with your normal online-banking login.
  3. Open My Account → Apps, create a new app/connection, and copy the Setup Token (a long base64 string ending in =).

2 · Paste your Setup Token

The token is exchanged once for a long-lived read-only Access URL, encrypted at rest in Nola's vault (AES-256-GCM). The token itself is single-use and can't be reused after claiming.
